Performances and Characteristics:

1、 Increasing the octane number of gasoline:Adding 0.1 ‰ MMT into catalytic gasoline can increase by 2-3 units of the octane number.

2、 Improving vehicle dynamic quality and reducing oil consumption, reducing the pollutant from the automobile tail gas.

3、 Favorable compatibility with MTBE 、ethanol and other oxygen component. 

4、 Having the improvement function to the vehicle emissions catalytic converter.

5、 Improving oil refining operation, strengthening the flexibility of the blending oil products.

Hydrocarbons receptivity towards MMT：

The receptivity of increasing the octane number as follows: Paraffins>Olefins >Sromatics Low octane number fuel oil>High octane number fuel oil Research octane number>Motor octane number

Adding 18mgMn/L MMT to gasoline is equivalent to blending MTBE of 8-10% for improving the octane number.

Packing:

MMT is packed by 200L galvanized iron drum,net weight is 200kg.It is also can be packed by other forms according to customer’s demand,such as steel container(10m3,standard Containers:Tank trailers,ISO tanks etc).

Storage:

Storage in cool,dry and well-ventilated place,far away from fire. Storage temp:ambient temp. to 40℃.

Handing and blending temp:ambient temp. to 50℃.

Shelf life: 12 months (ambient temperature, light avoided).

Shut the container when stop operating. Stored in an inert atmosphere such as nitrogen.

MMT is  extremely photosersitive and decomposes rapidly  when exposed to light. Gasoline samples containing MMT or MMT samples should be kept in dark container.

MMT is toxic.Ingestion, skin contact and prolonged inhalation of its vapors should be avoided.
